Tamrerah ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Tamrerah app ("the App").

What Data We Collect

When you use Tamrerah, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account information — your email address, phone number, and display name when you register
• Football preferences — the teams and leagues you follow within the App
• Push notification tokens — a device token used to deliver match alerts to your device
• Usage analytics — anonymised data about which features you use, screens you visit, and how you interact with the App
• Crash reports — anonymous diagnostic data generated when the App encounters an error
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version for support purposes

We do not collect payment information. We do not sell your data to third parties.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App
• To send you match alerts, goal notifications, and kickoff reminders for the teams you follow
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• To understand how the App is used so we can improve it
• To respond to your support requests

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data is stored securely on Supabase servers.
• PostHog — product analytics. Collects anonymised usage events to help us improve the App.
• Sentry — crash reporting. Collects anonymous error and diagnostic data when the App crashes.
• Expo / Expo Push Service — push notification delivery infrastructure.
• Twilio — SMS one-time password (OTP) delivery for phone number sign-in.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account using the in-app "Delete Account" feature, all your personal data — including your profile, followed teams, and notification settings — is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

Anonymised analytics and aggregated usage data may be retained for longer periods as they cannot be linked back to you.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (via the in-app "Delete Account" option, or by contacting us)
• Withdraw consent for notifications at any time via your device settings

Children's Privacy

Tamrerah is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
